Testing & Education Reference Center
Tennessee Electronic Library (TEL) is excited about a new standardized test prep and career advancement resource that will be available for free to all Tennessee residents just in time for upcoming AP, ACT, and SAT test dates! Whether you are a student, parent or job seeker, the Testing & Education Reference Center (TERC) has information that can assist with all aspects of education and career exploration!
Through TERC, Tennesseans have access for standardized test preparation, researching undergraduate and graduate programs, finding tuition assistance, and exploring careers. It includes practice tests for entrance exams, certifications, and licensing exams. TERC is replacing LearningExpress Library which will not be available after April 30th.
In order to use the practice tests or resume functions, TERC requires users to sign up for an account with a user name and password. Email is optional but recommended to access account and reset passwords.
· LearningExpress Library users with an active account will not be transferred to TERC. Users will need to sign up for a new TERC account.

Transparent Language Online
On Sunday, April 1st, Tennessee residents will be able to use Transparent Language Online to learn over 100 different languages through the Tennessee Electronic Library (TEL)! Transparent Language Online is replacing Gale’s PowerSpeak which will not be available after March 31st.
Transparent Language Online --
-Builds all four core skills of a language: listening, speaking, reading, and writing
-100+ languages to choose from
-English lessons for speakers of over 25 different languages
-KidSpeak has kid-friendly lessons and interface in 6 languages
-Mobile apps are available
-Save progress on lessons completed
-Transparent Language requires all users to sign up for an account with a user name and password. Email is optional but recommended to access account and reset passwords.
-PowerSpeak users with an active account will not be transferred to Transparent Language. Users will need to sign up for a new Transparent Language account.
