Library Corner January 19th
It has been said that resolutions are proof that you haven’t given up on getting better. If you need help keeping your resolutions for the New Year check out the library’s programs to see if we can be of help. The YMCA has partnered with us this week to get everyone moving. Join in on January 22nd at 10:30 a.m. in the Community Room for Fitness Plus. Instructors will show you how to start an exercise routine. Wear comfortable clothes. Family Yoga will be held January 25th at 2 p.m. in the Children’s Activity Room and teens will get moving with a Zumba class at their After-Hours on January 25th beginning at 7 p.m.
“2nd Sundays @ 2” in February will feature Julie Bestry, a Certified Professional Organizer and owner of Best Results Organizing. She will share secrets to start and keep you organized this year. Call our Non Fiction Desk to reserve a spot for this program.
Movie Night @ the library will be showing Oscar Nominated Movies this year. January 28th will kick off the series with a showing of Lee Daniel’s “The Butler” at 6:30 p.m. It is rated PG-13. Enjoy a night at the movies with popcorn and the big screen for free.
Children’s Library programs this week include the new Lego Juniors (4-7) group beginning January 21st at 4:30 p.m. and meeting the third Tuesdays of the month in the Community Room. Tween Scribblers (9-12) will meet in the Children’s Activity Room January 21st at 4:30 p.m.
The library will be closed January 20th in observance of Martin Luther King Day.
