February 9th brings Julie Bestry, Certified Professional Organizer and president of Best Results Organizing in Chattanooga to “2nd Sundays @ 2″. She will share “Secrets from a Professional Organizer” at this program. Be sure to call the Non-Fiction Desk to reserve your spot at 472-2163.
In her previous career in the fast-paced, detail-oriented, and wacky world of television broadcasting, Julie developed a passion for inspiring good organizing skills and systems with patience and humor. Julie particularly loves eliminating paper chaos and motivates her overwhelmed residential, home office, and small business clients with the motto, “Don’t apologize. Organize!”
A veteran member of the National Association of Professional Organizers, Julie has achieved Golden Circle status and serves on the NAPO Marketing Committee and the Board of Certification for Professional Organizers. Julie is a native of Buffalo, New York and holds a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University and a Master of Arts from Syracuse University.
Computer classes for February are available for sign up at our Non-Fiction Desk. All classes are free with a valid library card and are on a first come basis. Basic Computers (Windows 7): Feb. 10 & 11 from 3 until 5 p.m., Beginning Email: Feb. 19 & 20 from 3 until 5 p.m., Excel: Feb. 24, 25, 26 & 27 from 3 until 5 p.m., Beginning Internet: Feb. 12 & 13 from 3 until 5 p.m., Word: Feb. 5 & 6 from 3 until 5 p.m. and Transitions: Windows 7 to Windows 8: Feb. 3 & 4 from 3 until 5p.m.
The Original Muppet Movie, Rated G will be shown Feb. 8th at 11a.m for the monthly Tween Movie ages 6 through 12 in the Community Room.
Each Saturday at 2 p.m. there is a Family Story Time with stories and crafts the whole family will enjoy in the Children’s Library.
