There are still tickets available for the Author Evening Event featuring Chris Griffith sponsored by the Friends of the Library Association.  Come hear his “Crime Thriller Talk” April 24th at the Cleveland Country Club beginning at 7:30 p.m. Ticket prices are $5.00 for talk and free for students with an ID. There is a Meet the Author Reception beginning at 6 p.m. with heavy hors d’oeuvres and wine for $35 per person or $60 per couple.  Space is limited for the reception and reservations will be accepted until Monday, April 21st. Tickets can be purchased the library or go to our website to purchase tickets online.

Movie Night @ the library featuring Oscar Nominees will be showing “Gravity” April 22nd at 6:30 p.m. starring Sandra Bullock and George Clooney rated PG-13.

A writing club for teens ages 13-17, Scribblers, meets alongside Scribblers for Tweens ages 9-12. This month, we’ll be celebrating National Poetry Month by writing personal “I am From” poems modeled on the poem “Where I’m From” by George Ella Lyon.

Teens will be having an extended After Hours this month as they go “Fancy” with a formal evening event beginning at 7 until 11 p.m.  Email teenzone@clevelandlibrary.org for more information.

The library is closed today for Easter Sunday and will reopen tomorrow at regular hours.
