CBCPL Participating in National Teen Library Lock-In

To celebrate the end of a successful summer reading program, the Cleveland Bradley County Public Library teens will be participating in the third annual National Teen Lock-In, a collaborative library program that brings teens across the country together virtually with one another and with their favorite authors! This year, we will be chatting with YA authors Marissa Meyer, Michelle Gagnon, Claudia Gray, and Cecil Castellucci.  Teens will also have the opportunity to participate in a Minecraft-Fest, conduct candy science experiments, work on crafts, and challenge other teen groups in the Minute-to-Win-It and a Photo Scavenger Hunt. Dinner, snacks, and breakfast will be provided.

The event is for teens ages 13-17. It will begin on Friday, August 1 at 7:00 PM and end on Saturday, August 2 and 7:00 AM. Teens who wish to attend are required to attend an informational meeting along with their parents. Meetings will be held Saturday, July 12 from 6:30-7:00 PM and Saturday, July 26 from 6:30-7:00 PM.

This year’s event is full.  If you are interested in being added to the waiting list, please email teen services librarian Nikki Branam at teenzone@clevelandlibrary.org.
